We have had many visits from all over the world, so I would like to say Hi and thankyou for reading our blog. The main reason I started this blog was to try to reach more members for our meetings, this has not happened, then I relised that there are many people out there that can not attend meetings yet still enjoy the web site, I too enjoy providing information for this site, so I will be happy to continue.
You can always leave comments on the posts, these can be anonymous, but we would love to hear from you.
Once again thankyou for reading our blog, Happy Painting, Publicity Officer, Mountains and Rivers, Lyn.

AGM and Workshop
At the last meeting (AGM) we painted this lovely pattern by Christine Whipper, this was my finnished painting following Christine's instructions.
We had home work of painting the background, tracing on the pattern and blocking in the leaves, the rest was painted at the meeting, it just shows what you can achieve in three hours!
It was lovely to see everyone painting in the meeting, paintings and workshops were also on display for our "no frills" weekend in September, six projects to choose from. It will be very hard to choose this year as all six projects offer something different.
Look out for photo's later, check out the meetings page for more details on this weekend.
Thanks, Lyn, (Publicity)
